Bantam/ Midget Baseball- Age 14 - 18

Welcome to the 2024 Ball Season!

Season information: Bantam Baseball

The goal of Bantam Baseball is to expand on the already acquired skills from PeeWee Division and to increase each player's ability to hit, throw, catch, and build a solid understanding of game play. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and instructional environment for kids to learn the FUNdamentals and enjoy the game of baseball.

Start Date: Monday April 29, 2024

Days of Practice/ Games: Mondays & Wednesdays

Time of play: 5:30 - 7:30 pm

End Date: Wednesday June 26, 2024

Opening Day Ceremonies: Saturday May 4  10am  Confederation Park.  Please see website for details.

Mid Season Tournament:  June 7-9 Invermere

Photo night:  Monday May 6 6:30 pm (if on Quad 4)  or Wednesday May 8 at 5:30 pm (if at Moir)

Missed photo night Tuesday May 14 Confederation Park 7:30pm - 8:15pm

Place: Kinsmen Quad 4  (1600 Willowbrook Drive) for in town games Practices at Quad 4 and Moir Park

Playoffs Start June 19, 2024

*All game times are in local time.*

• Games are scheduled against outlying communities, Kimberley, Creston and Invermere.
• Cranbrook Minor Ball Association will attempt to accommodate as many team mate and coach requests as possible, but they are not guaranteed. 
• Players will receive a team shirt and hat as their uniform. CMBA will provide equipment to each team including balls, catchers gear, and bats. Players must bring their own glove, and batting helmet. Players must wear a protective cup, gray baseball pants (no jeans or shorts are allowed)  Players may wear rubber cleats or running shoes.  

• *Please wash the jersey in cold water at all times*

• Teams will have 2 practices per week for the first 2 weeks of the season, and 2 games /practice per week throughout the duration of the season. Players are encouraged to arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior for a proper warm up. All home games will be played at Kinsmen Quad #4 Field, away games in Kimberley, and Creston will also be scheduled. Practices will be at Quad #4 or Moir Fields

This year communication will be via email and the Ramp Team app.  To download the app go to the app store or google play and find ramp Team app.  If this is the first time using the app, you will need to create an account.  Please use the email address you used to sign up your child.
