Season information: 18U Baseball

The goal of 18U Baseball is to expand on the already acquired skills from 15U Baseball Division and to increase each player's ability to hit, throw, catch, and build a solid understanding of game play. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and instructional environment for kids to learn the FUNdamentals and enjoy the game of baseball.

Start Date: Tuesday May 6, 2025

Days of Practice/ Games: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time of play: 5:30 - 8:30 pm

End Date: Thursday June 26, 2025

Opening Day Ceremonies: Saturday May 3 10am Confederation Park. Please see website for details.

Mid Season Tournament: May 23 -25 -- Cranbrook

Photo night: Tuesday May 13 7pm

Missed photo night Wednesday and Thursday May 21 and 22

Place: Kinsmen Quad 4 (1600 Willowbrook Drive) for in town games and practices

Playoffs Start June 13, 2025

Games are scheduled against outlying communities, Kimberley, Creston, Golden and Invermere. Game start times will be released with the season schedule. During the regular season games maybe scheduled on Saturdays against Golden.

Teams will have 2 practices per week for the first 2 weeks of the season, and 2 games /practice per week throughout the duration of the season.
Players are encouraged to arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior for a proper warm up. All home games will be played at Kinsmen Quad #4 Field, away games in Kimberley, Invermere, Golden and Creston will also be scheduled.
There will be weekend games due to the travel time for the teams.
Cranbrook Minor Ball Association will attempt to accommodate as many teammate and coach requests as possible, but they are not guaranteed.
Players will receive a team shirt and hat as their uniform. CMBA will provide equipment to each team including balls, catchers gear, and bats. Players must bring their own glove, and batting helmet. Players must wear a protective cup, gray baseball pants (no jeans or shorts are allowed) Players may wear baseball approved cleats or running shoes.
