Division Information: 18U Baseball

The 18U Baseball program builds on the skills developed in the 15U division, focusing on refining hitting, throwing, catching, and overall game knowledge. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and instructional environment where players can strengthen their skills, learn the FUNdamentals, and enjoy the game of baseball.

Season Details

Start Date: Tuesday, May 5
Practice/Game Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 pm
End Date: Thursday, June 25
Opening Day Ceremonies: Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 am, Confederation Park (see website for details)
Mid-Season Tournament: TBD
Photo Night: TBD
Missed Photo Night: TBD
Playoffs: TBD
Location: Kinsmen Quad #4 (1600 Willowbrook Drive) for home games and practices

All game times are in local time.

Schedule Format

First 2 weeks: Two practices per week.
Remainder of season: Two games/practice per week.
Weekend games: Required due to travel time for out-of-town opponents.
Arrival: Players are encouraged to arrive 15-30 minutes early for warm-up.

Additional Notes

Games are scheduled against outlying communities including Kimberley, Creston, Invermere, and Golden.
Saturday games may be scheduled against Golden.
All home games will be played at Kinsmen Quad #4.
Away games will be scheduled in Kimberley, Invermere, Golden, and Creston.
CMBA will attempt to accommodate teammate and coach requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Uniform & Equipment

Provided by CMBA: team shirt, hat, balls, catcherâ€™s gear, bats.
Players must bring: glove, batting helmet, gray baseball pants (no jeans/shorts), protective cup, and baseball-approved cleats or running shoes.
Please wash jerseys in cold water only.
